Yes, but what about all that sugar in the Ginger ale (1 quart has 88 grams) and the ketchup (32 oz has 213 grams)? That's about 1.6 cups of sugar

I would think 6 lbs of raw beef would easily make 8 servings which is about 1/4 cup of sugar per serving. But then if this tastes half as good as it sounds it would be very hard not to eat more then one serving!!! :)

Hi Kathleen, GREAT INTERVIEW!! Thanks so much for doing this.

I went sugar-free about 10 years ago and always have a ton of energy, and stay healthy! This is one of the reasons I write my blog. http://LifestyleAndFashionPlace.com. I ALSO consider SUGAR, poison! I've become a vegetarian recently, and that's going well too!

I'm going to tweet about your interview on Twitter at @EnergyFitGirl and also on Facebook at LifestyleAndFashionPlace.

Have a great day and thanks again for this information.

Congrats on being the only other person I know to go sugar-free besides myself. LOL

Powerful interview Kathleen. I am so inspired by this segment as I have made the personal choice last year to not eat animal products. I have to say it was a long transition from being an 85% vegetarian for many years, I would consume fish and chicken occasionally. However taking that next step to vegan was such a mindful step through reading several books such as The China Study, The Kind Diet, The World Peace Diet, 80/10/10 and watching a few documentaries like Food Inc., Peaceful Kingdom, The Gerson Miracle, 30 Days to Raw that I knew the truth about what I was eating and I could no longer do the moderation thing. I made the commitment. It is interesting that by choosing this way of living, how curious people are as why I have chosen to live this way, and your show today confirms why.
Thank you for your truth and for the work that you do. I am inspired and am taking up the torch to make a difference too.

Take good care,
