The ugly side of beauty—toxic chemicals and other unpronounceables in your shampoo, moisturizer, deodorant

November 11th, 2010

by

Shampoos, lotions, sunscreens, makeup—think about what’s in the goop we put on our skin every day: toxic chemicals, cancer-causing compounds, trade secret protected fragrances, ingredients we can’t even begin to pronounce. You may never shower the same way again.

  3. LOVED this interview! Thanks so much for sharing and educating us all about the toxic chemicals in our beauty products!!!

  4. All those chemicals are totally unnecessary. There are plenty of all natural and organic products that work just as well or better than ones laden with toxic synthetic chemicals. There’s just no need for the chemicals.

  5. Andrea says:

    What about 100% Pure products?
