“We Are Nowhere And It’s Now”

July 23rd, 2010

by

From a band called Bright Eyes

I happen to love Kathleen’s Pick of the Week.  It’s a song (and album for that matter) that i’ve been listening to for a long while now.  The song is “We Are Nowhere And It’s Now” from Bright Eyes’ I’m Wide Awake It’s Morning album.  Sure, it’s a little dark, but dang if the lyrics don’t suck you in. (Kathleen mentioned two specific lines that grab her… “side effects they don’t advertise” and “with a head full of pesticide.”)

Take a listen and let us know what you think.

And how photogenic is singer/songwriter Conor Oberst?  Just sayin’…take a look for yourself.
