If you find yourself groping a bit in the God department… Listen to a refreshing new perspective on religion, spirituality and every man (and woman’s) personal relationship with God as Kathleen interviews William P. Young, author of the best-selling (and controversial) sensation The Shack. And we’re warning you, this is the most  raw and moving show we have done to date.

Simply a marvelous, uplifting reading of supposedly fiction in nature. Papa/Black Woman=God, Middle Eastern Laborer Man= Jesus, Asian Woman/Sarayu=The Holy Spirit. Mack the main character in the book saves one child while another daughter is taken by the Ladybug Killer and murdered, while the family is on a vacation. There on the trip is a Shack of no importance until after Mack searches for answers to his daughters’ disappearance and ultimate death. After this incident, Mack receives a note in his mailbox which reads; “Mackenzie, I’ve missed you. I’ll be at the shack next weekend if you want to get closer. -Papa”
Mack goes to the shack where he encounters a wonderful healing, life saving salvation and love encounter with the Trinity as never portrayed in any other way in books or verse. Needless to say Mack is redeemed and many mysteries are answered.
This work is a compelling, exciting, page turner. I read it in 7 days and will read it again. It pleasured my heart and spirit. BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO! Can’t wait for the movie.
Just a suggestion Tyler Perry would be an excellent director, give him a try he is more than comedic humor, he is centered in the realty of God’s ultimate love an redemption. I also think that who ever produced “Avatar” good caputure the vivid places and colors of the book and put them into a graphic portrayal on film.
