aren’t meant for science? Dr. Deborah Berebichez (aka “the Science Babe“) is working her buns off to dispel that myth and teach young people that science can be a very fun, and attractive discipline.
Raised in a conservative community in Mexico City, Deborah was the first Mexican woman to complete a Ph.D in Physics at Stanford University. And now, she’s inspiring others to fall in love with science by showing the world what a ball it is to know how stuff works. From the physics of high heels to the nanotechnology of fashion, this spitfire smartie is taking her male-dominated field by storm. (And parents of girls…there are some special pointers for you.)
