Dr. Richard Weindruch, a Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin and one of the country’s leading researchers on the aging process, has been studying the effects of caloric restriction on the longevity of monkeys. And what’s he’s found could have huge implications for humans. He shares his fascinating findings, including how living longer and healthier lives might be as simple as eating less.

Dr. Richard Weindruch is an award-winning researcher and Professor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin . He’s also an investigator with the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center at the VA Hospital in Madison, Wis., as well as the author of two books. For more than 25 years, he has studied the connection between caloric restriction and the aging process.
