Serving up a healthy glass of milk.
A lot of the milk that is sold at your local grocer is chock full of growth hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides—lovely stuff that wreaks havoc on us as adults but that are even more harmful to our kids who guzzle it down by the glassful. You can avoid all of this and serve up a healthy, tasty glass of milk by choosing organic.
Kathleen interviews Organic Valley farmer and Wonder Woman, Maureen Knapp, who works her buns off to keep her cows happy and bring you healthy and safe food.
Want to try a glass of Maureen’s delicious milk? Choose the Organic Valley brand the next time you’re at the grocery store.
Paul and Maureen Knapp’s farm, Cobblestone Valley Enterprises, is nestled in the small central New York community of Preble, 20 miles south of Syracuse, sitting on a 600-acre site that’s been in the Knapp family for four generations.
The Knapps are one of over 1,200 family farmers in the Organic Valley cooperative. Organic Valley is the oldest and largest organic farmer-owned cooperative in the nation. Organic Valley farm families can be found in 34 states from California to Maine.
