Hell No to the Status Quo
You might love him or hate him, but there are very few people out there who epitomize our show tagline quite like media giant, Ted Turner. He is definitely someone who said a big hell no to the status quo throughout his life.
Kathleen interviews Bill Burke, the New York Times best-selling author of Call Me Ted, Ted Turner’s thrill ride autobiography. In the book, Ted candidly and graciously opens up about his troubled childhood, his wild ride to media mogul, winning America’s Cup and the World Series, and his failures and successes as a parent and husband.
Bill shares his favorite moments from the book and gives a behind-the-scenes and intimate account of working with Ted through the writing process. He also talks about the highs and lows of his own journey from media executive to first-time author and the fork in the road he now faces.
Although new to the archives, Kathleen has already pegged this one of her all-time favorite interviews.
