The road to Babel
Adriana talks with Kathleen about her personal journey to the Oscars and stresses the importance of passion and discipline in life and work. She discusses how she landed the role and perfected her breathtaking performance as an illegal immigrant nanny in Babel, one of Kathleen's favorite films.
Adriana Barraza was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Babel". The performance also earned her Golden Globe and Sag nominations. She is well known in her home of Mexico as a veteran acting coach and actress of Televisa telenovelas.
